Erhan Karabardak, a senior lawyer, and trademark attorney is recognised as a leading trademark expert and is regularly engaged to provide expert advice and commentary on trademark and domain name issues. He is a co-author of Lahore’s Patents, Trade Marks & Related Rights.  He acts for a range of Australian and international clients, including well-known global brands.

Erhan is experienced in information technology, ecommerce, privacy corporate and commercial law.  He is a recognised authority on domain name law and regularly acts for parties to auDRP and UDRP, as well as in domain name disputes before the Federal Court of Australia. He was formerly Deputy Chair and Chair of .au Domain Administration (auDA) Australia’s domain name regulator, and is currently an adviser to .PG the domain name extension for Papua New Guinea. He is also the Secretary of the Asia Pacific Top Level Domain Association (APTLD), which represents over 60 country level extensions (including Australia) making it the biggest regional body of its kind in the world.
