Tim Fortin is an international business leader with over 23 years in the medical device industry across Australia & New Zealand, the Asia Pacific region and globally as a member of two executive leadership teams.

Tim is currently the Chair of Cardihab, an Australian digital health platform that enables clinicians and patients to leverage technology to improve outcomes in cardiovascular disease management. Most recently he served as the Vice President & Managing Director, Australia & New Zealand for Medtronic, a leading global healthcare company committed to improving the lives of people through medical technologies, services and solutions.  Previously Tim built the Cardiac and Vascular Group for Asia Pacific at Medtronic as the Vice President.  He led the consolidation of three geographical regions, three business divisions and 1,500 staff into a single $USD1.5B business.

Prior to Medtronic Tim had 11 years at Boston Scientific where he finished as the General Manager, Cardiovascular, ANZ.

He started his career in the Canadian banking sector before relocating to Australia. Tim has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Western University, Canada, has completed an Executive Program at Stanford University and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
